Burn Ban Information
Numerous authorities, including the National Weather
Service and the Texas A&M Forest Service, may issue advisories, watches, or warnings when weather and fuel conditions
increase the risk of escaped fires or the severity of wildfires.
Public cooperation during the dangerous wildfire conditions
is essential to prevent needless wildfires and the losses they
may cause. Brazos County Precinct 4 enters and maintains a Burn Ban under such conditions until it is safe to lift burn ban.

PLEASE notify Brazos County 911 Dispatch in advance of your burn by calling (979)-361-3888. You must call each day that you burn. This number is not for reporting emergencies; to report a fire or other emergency, dial 911. Likewise, 911 is not to be used for reporting controlled burn information.
